Projects
Crypto Coin Tracker
A website that brings in real-time data on the prices of crypto coins, allowing users to buy, sell, and favorite coins so they may track them. Their choices are saved in the browser’s local storage so they persist through refreshes.
Assiniboine Park Zoo Website
This project was completed during the Skills Manitoba Competition in the Web Technologies category at the Secondary School level. I placed 1st place, recieving a gold medal. Contestants were tasked with completing a theoretical extension to Assiniboine Park website. They had 6 hours to complete the project. Afterwards, each contestant's websites were judged by a panel of judges consisting of developers and designers.
Moon Landing Simulator
This project is built for the University of Manitoba's .devClub Hackathon if 2023. It was inspired by a past computer science assignment I have completed called Lunar Lander. The assignment was based of the Lunar Lander game. My goal of this project was to expand on the game and add visual and graphical elements to it, creating a website instead of a Java console app.
Java Forest Fire Simulation
A simulation of a fire taking place in a forest. This was done using Java. The three elements involved are Fire, Trees, and seeds.
The Game of Life in C#
The Game of Life is a type of cellular automaton. Each cell can either be alive or dead and the status is updated every iteration. The status of a cell is determined based off of predefined rules.
Stock Searcher
This website allows users to enter a stock symbol. A web socket is created with the Finnhub Finance API and the trading price of the stock is continuously updated and displayed to the user in real-time.
JavaScript DOM Manipluation
This project contains advanced uses of JavaScript to create a dynamic 3D card that the user can interact with, a image gallery, and a draggable slider.
